"Okay so it this just another ADHD moment or is it worth me drawing this out?" Stepping forward he met the pair "You are going to be there when I draw it so I make sure it fits your expectations."
Rubbing the Chaos face he looked up at her with a smirk "No reining for you today?" Taking his phone out of his pockets he check the time. 4:00. "Anything planned for the rest of the day?" Without giving her time to answer he added "we can either head back to my house and make a blueprint or go on a trail ride. Your choice."

"Please boy, I can do anything better than you. I can't help it that you've distracted me for the millionth time with questions. And no, this isn't an ADHD attack... the loan's been made as has the down payment, so I'm stuck. Rather be stuck with that then stuck here," She looked around at the indoor a bit with a sigh. This facility is something she'd had enough of, and her brother's management, and his little clan of english snobbery.
As he went on, she found herself giving him a very unconvinced stare, "You expect me to fall for that? Going to your place so you can doodle, when you're actually going to try and seduce me... Plus, I thought you didn't feel like riding today?" She smirked, "Well, horses. You obviously want to ride something... or someone."

"We can go where ever you want so I can draw your barn. Don't flatter yourself. I may be a guy but thats not all I think about." Slightly snapping he went on. "You can draw it yourself...hold on I'll go get some crayons." Falling into that category didn't sit well with him. He had his moments but most of the time he was able to control himself. "I've got better things to do then listen to you accuse me of things while I was just trying to help you, not get in your pants."
Silent for a minute he watched Chaos's sides rise and fall in contentment. "Sorry for that." He said before turning and walking back into the barn to visit his filly.

Leslie watched him go. Had she really just set him off that easily? Damn. Shaking her head, she dismounted Chaos, loosening his girth and leading him back into the stall area. She spoke a bit more timid than usual, "It's fine... I'll find someone else to do it." Handing him the reins, she walked to the feed room to begin making up rations for the barn.
Having this part basically memorized, she quickly sorted feed into a series of buckets, each listing the name of a horse and it's stall number. Once the buckets were filled with oats, she tossed in the ration balancer and began adding supplements to different horses feed. Joint supplements, gastric supplements. Almost anything you could think of, and Leslie was like a little mad scientist in her laboratory with several buckets surrounding her.
Her mood had dimmed significantly, and one could tell that just by the downed expression on her face. She'd pissed off several people before - why did she feel bad about this one? Not wishing to linger on that, she finished up the evening's rations, and pushed herself up on the counter to sit there and bask in her own pity.

Taking Chaos he began the long process of untacking. His mind back home. Moving was not turning out to be the best idea he has ever had. Giving the stud a good brushing he went back through the last hours events. Reese was known for his laid back personality and was never that easily set off. Why that had set him off..was beginning to become more obvious
Putting Chaos back in the comfort of his stall he moved to the fillies part of the barn. Clipping her in the cross-ties he set to work giving her a little make over. starting with her unruly mane. She was curious, turning her head toward him as far as the cross-tis would allow. Ears perked she watched him intently. For the first time since the disagreement with Leslie he cracked a smile.
Leaving the filly in the cross-ties he went in search for her. He wasn't so sure what he was going to say but he couldn't leave it like this. Standing the doorway of the feed room he was a little taken back from her appearance. He seemed to have done more damage then intended. "Sorry about my little hissy fit, I shouldn't have spoken to you like that, it wasn't my place." Taking a deep breath he lingered for a second before going back to his horse. He said his peace and thats all that mattered.

Having nothing to say to him, she kept silent and watched him go just as before. Rolling her eyes, she called her brother, telling him he could feed this evening. With her position filled, she grabbed her things from the office and headed out towards her car, meeting Marc halfway.
"What the hell is going on?"
Not really wanting to talk about this, and a bit livid herself, "Just... can we for once have no questions asked?! Just do this for me, for once without needing a god damn excuse."
"Whether or not you're my sister, you're still my employee and I deserve-"
"Fuck what you 'deserve' Marc... consider this my notice. I'll get my boys moved soon," she didn't know where - she just knew she would. With that, the young woman departed, heading home and searching for boarding barns until finally settling on one and making their reservation. When she put her mind to something, she sure as hell got it done. She pulled into the drive with her truck and trailer and started packing her gear up.
She never realized how much crap she had until it came time to move it all. Saddles. Bits. Bridles. Halters. Leads. Lines. Polos. Boots. Organizing it all into boxes took some time, more time than she desired really as the day moved on. Finally having all of her tack packed, she sat in the doorway of the trailer's living quarters, wiping the sweat from her brow. Only two more things of hers left in the facility - her paint horses.

Not being one to hang on things he arrived again late in the afternoon. This was starting to bit him in the ass. Only working Chaos for an hour, he decided to work with the filly, who still hadn't had a name. Putting on the surcingle, he adjusted all the straps to her height, replaced the bit with a regular O-ring snaffle. Snapping the long lines on he headed outside to the arena passing the tack room on his way out. Out of the corner of his eye he watched her packing in a frenzy.
Once in the arena he messed with the surcingle a little more until it fit his standards. Kissing to her he moved her away from him, she moved in short choppy strides, her tail flicking in annoyance. Mostly confusion, it was clear she had never been worked in one. Going slow he kept her moving with the sound of his voice and a flick of the long line if need be. "Whoa." He said in a low voice, putting light pressure on the bit. Keeping behind her shoulder he moved her forward again. Repeating the stop go stop go.
A few times movement from the corner of his eye caught his attention. Taking his eyes of the filly he watched Leslie load her stuff in her trailer. Well thats differnent. Knowing it was none of his business he turned his attention back to the filly and had her switch directions. Repeating the stop, go in this direction, ending on a good note. "Good girl" He muttered affectionately, rubbing his hand down her sweat darkened neck. That rare tone of voice was rarely heard by anyone. Walking past the trailer again he looked at her from behind his sunglasses. From the looks of it she wasn't have the greatest day so he kept walking, deciding to keep his hello to himself. No need to add onto whatever was causing it.

Having a couple of more things to do, she hung hay nets in the trailer, despite the fact the drive was only about twenty minutes long. Grabbing some wraps and bandages, she headed to the stalls, tying up Vegas and wrapping his legs for the trip, and going and doing the same with the new guy. Leading Vegas out first, she loaded him up and secured him, returning only to grab the other and heading back to her trailer.
Marc was there, "You're actually leaving?"
"You thought I was bullshitting you? Wrong person to think that with Marc," brushing past him, she loaded the gelding, tying him in and stepping out only to shut the trailer. Perhaps it was all a rash decision, but sometimes those decisions had to be made. Plus, where she was going? She'd probably make a damn good name for herself. Stepping up on the running board of her truck, she looked over it to Reese, shaking her head before finally getting in and preparing for the journey ahead of her.
